Jason York

Since completing a Master of Science in Conservation Biology in 2010, I have worked to restore our national forests as a US Forest Service contractor and have provided services to private clients in North Carolina. Specialties include control of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, site inventory and analysis, non-native invasive plant management, TSI (Timer Stand Improvement), and CTR (Crown Touch Release).

I have also worked extensively with Dave collecting benthics in western North Carolina as well as providing recommendations for riparian zone restoration. I currently live with my wife and two daughters in Hot Springs, NC, in a house I completed in 2014.
